How far in advance should I book Kilokomi for my event?
We recommend booking at least 4-8 weeks in advance for standard events, and 3-6 months for large-scale productions or peak season dates (December, summer weddings, Christmas parties). For last-minute inquiries, don’t hesitate to contact us; we’ll do our best to accommodate you if our schedule allows.
How much does it cost to book Kilokomi?
Our pricing is customised based on your event type, size, services needed, duration, and location. After you submit your inquiry, we’ll provide a detailed personalised quote completely free with no obligation. We offer packages for every budget, from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions.
What's included in your services?
Every package is customised to your event, but typically includes: professional performance/entertainment, sound and lighting equipment, setup and breakdown, and full coordination. Additional services, such as MC hosting, event planning, photography coordination, and BBQ catering, can be added based on your specific needs. Your custom quote will detail everything included.
Do you require a deposit to secure my booking?
Yes, we require a deposit (typically 50-70% of the total event cost, depending on the event size and services) along with a signed agreement to confirm your booking and secure your date. The remaining balance is due before or on the event day, based on the terms agreed upon in your quote.
What's your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy varies based on how close to the event date you cancel. Deposits are generally non-refundable, but partial refunds may be available for cancellations made well in advance. Full cancellation terms will be included in your service agreement. We always aim to be fair and transparent.
Do you travel outside London for events?
Absolutely! While we’re based in London, we regularly perform and coordinate events across the UK. Travel arrangements and fees for events outside London will be discussed and transparently included in your custom quote.
Can I request specific songs or customize the setlist?
Yes! Every event is unique, and we welcome specific song requests, custom playlists, do-not-play lists, and special performance requests. We’ll discuss your musical preferences during our consultation to make your event uniquely yours.
What if I need to change my event date after booking?
We understand plans can change. If you need to reschedule, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate your new date based on availability. Rescheduling fees may apply depending on notice given and circumstances, but we always aim to work with our clients flexibly.
Do you provide equipment, or do we need to arrange it?
Yes, we can provide professional sound systems, microphones, lighting, DJ equipment, and other essential event production equipment as part of your package. If your venue already has suitable equipment, we’re happy to work with what’s available. During your consultation, we’ll assess your event requirements and recommend the best setup.
What is your standard performance duration?
Our performance durations are flexible and tailored to your event. Most bookings range from 2 to 5 hours, depending on the type of event and the services requested. Whether you need entertainment for a short reception or full-day event coverage, we’ll create a schedule that fits your plans perfectly.
Can you accommodate cultural or religious event requirements?
Absolutely. We have experience providing entertainment for a wide variety of cultural celebrations, religious gatherings, weddings, and community events. We respect the traditions, customs, and preferences of every client and will tailor our performances, music selection, and presentation to suit your event appropriately.
Do you offer package discounts for multiple services?
Yes. Clients who book multiple services such as live band entertainment, DJ services, MC hosting, event planning, or additional event support may qualify for discounted package pricing. During your consultation, we’ll recommend the most cost-effective combination of services based on your event and budget.
